Ten year old Dutch Warmblood mare.

Working at upper level Dressage

This mare is a wall kicker. She put her right hind leg through a page wire fence. When she pulled the leg out of the fence the lateral collateral ligament was pulled from it's proximal insertion on P II

The Denoix collateral ligament shoe was applied soon after the incident and diagnosis and was shod every four weeks for eight months.

She has recovered well and is in her normal shoeing cycle.
