Ten year old Dutch Warmblood mare.
Working at upper level Dressage
This mare is a wall kicker. She put her
right hind leg through a page wire fence. When she
pulled the leg out of the fence the lateral collateral
ligament was pulled from it's proximal insertion on P II
The Denoix collateral ligament shoe was
applied soon after the incident and diagnosis and was
shod every four weeks for eight months.
She has recovered well and is in her
normal shoeing cycle.
